On July 17, 1952 (today) at 9am Gene Kelly began filming this magical number to one of my favorite musicals. Just never gets old and it just makes you feel…good. Fun fact: He had a 102º fever when he filmed this, but you couldn’t even tell. Also, they added milk to the water because the cameras weren’t picking up the “rain.”
Flawless.
