I’m enjoying BBC America’s new marketing campaign. The first shot is a street art-style ad on a shop exterior in Williamsburg, the second is a photo (I didn’t take) of the ad I saw at the Fordham train stop.
Feel-Good Gag of the Day: Carlsberg sent several unsuspecting couples into a Belgian movie theater full of rough-and-tumble-looking bikers.

While packing and going through my desk, I found a signed picture from astronaut Sally Ride in my room! It says “Reach for the stars!”, haha of course it does…
I had to do a project about an inspirational woman when I was in the 1st or 2nd grade so I wrote her a letter and got that and a letter in return.
Little findings like this make me smile.

I must’ve had to do a project or something because I remember this time in probably about 2nd grade where I just read TONS about Ernest Shackleton. My dad surprised me one day by telling me to get ready to go because he was going to take me to the museum to see a special Ernest Shackleton exhibit that had just opened! Funny how some memories stick with ya.
