Watched this the other day. Snappy writing, great casting. As much as the storyline may sound more relevant to the time of the film’s release in 2009, the focus of the film isn’t on actual wartime events, so “In the Loop” just ends up being a strong, satirical stab at modern-day Anglo-American politics. And really, even if you don’t know much about current events or politics, and you just care about funny movies, it’s worth your time.
